Fauquier County Real Estate Information

Fauquier County is a beautiful County with bucolic horse farms, vineyards, and quint historic towns.  Fun fact, the County was named for a former Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, Francis Fauquier.  Supposedly, Francis Fauquier won the land in a poker game in 1759.  He would be surprised if he could see Fauquier County today!

As the Metropolitan Washington area grows, so does Fauquier County.  New subdivisions are sprouting up in conjunction with the Metro area’s expansion.  While much of the land in Fauquier County is set aside in Conservancy, many farms are selling and subdividing into amenity rich communities.  Warrenton, the County seat offers several communities that support commuters to DC, Manassas, Dulles, and other Northern Virginia Employment Centers.  Shopping, commuter, dining, and entertainment options are also expanding to support the growing populous.

Housing options in Fauquier County include lovely single family homes with larger yards, farm styled properties, equestrian styled properties, townhouses, and even condominium options are available in Fauquier County.  Towns such as Warrenton, Marshall, Catlett, and Bealeton are experiencing significant expansion and growth.  Many homebuyers looking in this area are trying to get away from some of the density and expense that closer in communities offer.  Fauquier County is absolutely gorgeous and may offer exactly what you are looking for!

Customer Reviews

"I was very satisfied with Team Capalbo's services. They sold our rental property in VA while I'm in Europe, without having to fly back. Carolyn's knowldge of the area helped price the house well (more than I expected) and was sold in less than a week. She provided very useful advises from start to finish. Her team had contractors ready to bid for some repairs and I was provided with a couple of bids for my approval. The electronic signing of the documents was easy and efficient. Her team was very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend this team to anyone"
